EC™ Wine Total Acidity (Microlab EFA)

Description:
Total acidity is the combination of all the acids (CO2 excluded). When producing red wine, the acids assist the solubility of the colouring substances and give freshness and body to the wine, enhancing the aroma and flavour. The main component of total acidity is tartaric acid, followed by malic acid, lactic acid, succinic acid and others.

The EC™ Wine Total Acidity (ML EFA) method utilises the differential pH technique for quick and accurate measurement of total acidity in wine.
